What is BBB?

BBB (Bulletin Board Browser) is a service that allows you to perform a wide variety of operations on your ASAHI Net account, including reading and sending email, getting reports of your recent activity and charges, applying for changes, and making server-side settings, all from the comfortable environment of your favorite web browser.
In order to use BBB, it is necessary to have a browser which supports user authentication, such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer.
The use of BBB requires an exclusive lock on your user ID, like our ASAHI Net BBS and POP3 servers, and thus it cannot be used simultaneously with either the BBS, POP3, or any other such service. If you wish to use the BBS or POP3 mail after using BBB, please be sure to logout from BBB first.
BBB is still an experimental service, and its use is currently free, i.e. you need only pay the usual connectivity charge while you are using it. BBB sessions appear in your list of connection records (which can be found on BBB, incidentally) with "BBB" in the "Line" column, however, like POP3, these sessions are not charged.

Beware!

If someone other than yourself or those you trust completely has access to the computer on which you use BBB, you must be careful of a potential security issue. After you have logged out from BBB and have finished using your browser, please terminate the browser application. The reason is that your user ID and password remain in the browser even after you disconnect from BBB, allowing someone else who might sit down at your computer to easily gain access to your personal information, and even to your email. If you quit the browser, this information will disappear.
In order to logout from BBB, use the "Log Out" link that appears at the top of every page. Simply quitting your browser application will not log you out from BBB.
At this time, BBB and ASAHI Net's SP service are the only web pages which require the entry of your ASAHI Net user ID and password. Please do not enter your user ID and password into any other page on the Web. If you have any doubt about whether it is ok to enter your password somewhere, please contact us.

Click the button below to enter BBB at the top menu. Please input your ASAHI Net user ID and password when prompted.
If you access BBB more than once without restarting your browser application, the same user ID and password will be reused.
